I am married to Kelvin and we have three grown up daughters. We moved to the island in 2010. I am a music teacher and taught until recently at St Catherine's Speech and Language School.
I joined SWAY in June 2017 as their Youth and Families Worker and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with SWAY to date.
I enjoy walking with my King Charles Spaniel. I am a squash-a-holic, playing several times per week. I enjoy cooking, and gardening. I am a Christian and attend Niton Methodist Church.
I live with my family in Chale where I run my business, Wight Heat, which I started in 2009. My work covered years in Africa and Asia in land management and environmental consultancy and for 10 years I ran grant programmes for the Isle of Wight Council before moving to public participation in health then setting up Wight Heat. Wight Heat offers young people work experience and a qualification to use as a spring board for their futures.
I’m the lead worker for SWAY. I’ve been a youth worker for 12 years and studied at Southampton University. My family and I moved to the island in 2015 after spending 7 years in Suffolk leading a youth charity. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 10 years and we have two amazing sons and a springer spaniel. I am a passionate Christian and I believe my vocation in life is to see young people fulfil their God given potential. My hobbies are mountain walking, running, squash and football.
